Why Flyer Printing?

A flyer, also commonly referred to as a leaflet, is a single page leaflet advertising a venue, event, service, or other activity. Flyers are typically used by individuals or businesses to promote their products or services.  They are a form of mass marketing or small-scale community communication.  Flyers, along with postcards, pamphlets and small posters, are forms of communication for people who want to engage the public but do not have the money or desire to advertise over the internet, in telephone directories, or classified or display advertising in newspapers or other periodicals.

Flyers are primarily seen being handed out at intersections, or maybe even displayed in stacks on the counter of a store. Too often, people stereotype flyers to these forms of advertising. Flyers are certainly a very versatile form of marketing, and of course one of the cheapest.

If your flyer has a coupon or some other special deal on it, you’ll have a greater number of people take them, or if you’re handing them out in a location that particularly appeals to those customers you’ll have a greater chance of success.

Having a stack of them in a store (be it your own or someone else’s store) also works well.  Another possibility for flyers is to put them up on bulletin boards.  All you need to do is target the best location and audience for you flyers, and make sure it never gets taken down.

If you have a really local business you can try to place them in people’s mailboxes yourself, or go door to door with them. Never limit yourself by failing to understand just how versatile a form of marketing can be.
